Kim is currently the Oceania Corporate Services Leader at Ernst & Young. Corporate Services includes Virtual CFO services, outsourced bookkeeping, management accounting, statutory reporting, tax and indirect tax, company secretarial, governance and payroll. Kim has a particular passion for Entrepreneurial businesses and assists many clients with strategic and financial advisory.
Kim started her career at Arthur Andersen and then had various roles as Finance Director, CFO and Company Secretary in industry.
Kim then worked as a Partner in a scale-up mid-tier Chartered Accounting and Advisory practice heading up the Business Services and Corporate Advisory areas of the practice which also included the provision of outsourced bookkeeping, payroll, management accounting, statutory reporting and CFO advisory services.
In 2009, Kim started her own Chartered Accounting and Advisory business in Sydney. The core business included taxation and accounting compliance services as well as outsourced accounting and CFO services. Kim also headed up the Valuation and Corporate Advisory specialities in the practice.
Kim has a Senior Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, holds a Bachelor of Business, Double Major Accounting & Finance, UTS Sydney, is a Member and has a Practising Certificate with the Institute of Chartered Accounts in Australia and New Zealand, a Member of the Institute of Company Directors, FINSIA, JP and Tax Agent
Kim has a long standing interest in women and children’s welfare issues. She has a daughter and enjoys cycling, health & fitness and has travelled extensively. Kim has a personal interest in the West African region as she was born in Lagos Nigeria and her family lived there for many years before they immigrated to Australia.
